During the pandemic, owners Lyndsay and Thomas met for the first time. They both shared an incredible, lifelong passion for growing plants. Lyndsay, an avid vegan, chef and self-proclaimed 'plant nerd,' decided that our community needed a fully vegan restaurant that serves delicious food with a plant-driven menu. Thomas agreed and after 8 months of building out the Seaside Eatery trailer together, they opened and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from locals and tourists alike. While expanding the business, they spent all of their free time creating an edible wonderland on their small property and soon, the surplus of super hot peppers (Thomas' obsession) became overwhelming. After many experiments and taste-tests, Seaside Eatery Small Batch was born. Their hot sauces and pepper jams focus on using local, organic ingredients (most of which they grow themselves). Thomas' quirky personality shines through in his unique flavor combinations and his ability to seamlessly blend sweet with salty heat. After a few years, the couple's son, Oliver was born and the brand was changed in his namesake to Oliver Finn's Small Batch. All sales now go towards a fund to benefit Oliver's future.
